I'm struggling with my Hauppauge budget USB box.
I'm trying to use it with SuSE 9.1 (uname -r = 2.6.4-52-smp).
Having read that the 2.6 kernel has built-in dvb support, I tried it
straight out of the box. It didn't hotplug correctly (the light at
the front of the box lit up orange).

May you tell me if there is someone who has successfully used the dvb0_0
device under kernel 2.6 by receiving IP over mpeg packets.
I don't have anything on tcpdump .
But I can see my ts stream just by doing :
--- install firware with insmod.sh in the driver
We are working on this goal: streaming more DVB channels from a PC to a
network of STB/PC clients using VideoLAN (both free-to-air and encrypted).
Our problem - as you imagine - is streaming scrambled channels, that is not
currently supported by VideoLan.

No, it doesn't. It switches to the right wave band. I mean the 4th parameter
in tzap's channels.conf
