Hi,
Is this device well working under linux especially with vdr?
I found some stuff in the archive that says the devices should work but
there are not much messages written about this.
So I wanted to ask before buying it from dvbshop.
Is this an usb-2.0 box or is usb 1.1 enough for it?
Thanks a

There is nothing wrong with IRC as a medium, but since the interaction
is faster the rate at which you reach the end state is also faster --

hi,
seems this card is off the too-do list as it *works*...the driver that is.
To get this working for .au apparently we need to extract the the proper
firmware from somewhere. the firmware currently used just happens to work for
the UK/EU and is probably lacking a few features to work properly
Hello Marcel,
I did not try your patch, but the following one against
linuxtv-dvb-apps-1.1.1.tar.bz2.
(available @linuxtv.org).
Unfortunately had to adjust the line numbers plus a blank in lines 3 and 6.
Result: The trouble with the wrong polarization printout is gone. H conforms
to h now.

Hello,
I've received a HVR-1300 MCE edition. However, I'm unable to get it working.
On boot time everything looks ok: it detects the correct board (see below in
the dmesg). However, the moment I try to run e.g . the radio, I get these
messages:
tda9887 2-0043: i2c i/o error: rc == -121 (should
For those who don't know about it yet, usbreplay is a small tool that
can replay parsed usbsnoop logfiles in linux.
I updated the code to support bulk requests as well now (before it
only supported usb control commands)

Well, I've only managed to look at the beginning so far, but there
seem to be at least some minor differences.

Hmm. So this should do it:

But VLC does not play that file (mplayer does). I tried to add almost
all pids in the stream but with no luck with VLC.
Here are the pids I got from dvbsnoop:

If I'm not mistaking I can set the order in /etc/modules. To find the
current order I would look at the dmesg, is there a better way ?
Thanks!
