Hi Brett, Jurgen and others,
After failing to compile Chriss test DVB sources for the DViCO Dual
Digital card for about a week on all sorts of different kernels, the
patches have made their way into the main dvb sources :-) And they work!!
Schweet! Thanks Chris!
I'm having a few probs
I got this (very prompt) response from the UK support site.

Dear Sir,
After speaking to our RD team it has been decided to crate no further
drivers for the A808 due to the lack of customer interest and the rapidly
changing nature of the distributions.
I am sorry for any inconvenience this
Well it's looks like I setup my Twinhan 1025.
Next question is how to scan full range of signals that can be received by
my dish?
As I know from the Satellite dish installer, the dish can receive signals
from Sirius, Amos and Hotbird (no more board details).
Sample for Sirius-5.0E are helpful,
Really hard to say, I'm unable to test the practicality of the drivers for
another week because I just won't be near that PC, all I can do is zap and
dvbstream and then download the video. First shot I took with zap today
didn't go very well, but after a reboot(removing and loading the modules

Hi,
I have a dvb feed on 11623 Mhz. I've had problems with this frequency as
it seems that users' DECT phones cause interference.
So I am going to move it to a different transponder.
Before I do, does anyone know of any other frequency ranges that might
be affected by any other radio gear, so

I see the ber and unc readings from szap are way out there. And signal and
snr are too low. Is this just signal strength or is there someting else I
can try? Any other insights?
Sync Lock looks good, maybe they've just switched to an encrypted
stream. If it's jumping in and out of lock

AFAIK, DirecTV uses DSS and not DVB. DSS is not supported.

DSS doesn't use the MPEG-2 standard whereas DVB uses the MPEG-2 standard
You're right, but what Dave really meant to say was Dish Network TV,
which does use regular DVB on Echostar 7.

I am quite unhappy about the performance of my Twinhan Cab/CI 2031 DVB-C

Besides the still unresolved issue of 'tuning needed twice', I have

The reason I use such old source code for SAA7130/4 is I cannot find any
newer SAA7130/4 driver for LINUX kernel 2.4.
After I checked the changelog from the CVS server of linuxtv.org, I

But unluckily my STB is using LINUX kernel 2.4.20 as base platform, and
this cannot be changed (since lots of application also developed base on
this LINUX kernel version).
Anyway thanks for your kindly help!
