What kind of satellite equipment do you have?
- a single LNB, so the 22kHz tone is enough.

if yes, which commands does it need / understand?
- nothing but the tone?

Ok, thanks for your tips. I guess I'll need to wait until Tino fixes his
patch. I tried yesterday using only yours but I didn't get a lock on any
channel.
By the way: with your DVB-S patch I got a new frontend / adaptor / etc...
set created. And here my problems started: this porks my current

Hello all,
I would just confirm the symptom that Jonas Anden reported on the
mailing list a few days ago about the Nova-T 500 loosing one tuner.
Nothing in the logs or dmesg;

Hi All,
I am still trying to get my Freecom v4 USB stick to tune.
Realtek have provided a GPL driver for its main RTL2831U chip. However
the driver assumes that this is paired with a MT2060 or MXL5005 tuner.
(and failing to find a MT2060, defaults to the MXL5005 on this stick).
The stick's
Hello,
I'm newbie, so please be kind :)
I have a satelco easywatch pci dvb-c card and I would like to do a
full scan of frequencies in order to find the transponders of my
cable-provider.
I didn't find any start file for scan for my country/provider. I'm
leaving in France, in Nantes and my cable

Hi,
I have added few lines to dvb-usb-ids.h and ttusb2.c to get the
Technotrend TT connect S-2400 working.
The attached patch should apply against current HG repository.
However, the S-2400 will not be working unless an earlier patch is reverted:
Ok thanks a lot. I though that frequencies where different in each
city as they are in dvb-t.

Hi,
I'm updating the scan file for whole Austria, not only for this

Thanks,

I couldn't find any reference to the uk-Belmont scan file, this caused
me (a dvb numbskull) major problems in getting my DVB-T working.
Finally I created a scan file that works.
I have no idea how to submit this other than to post it to this mailing
list.
This really does need adding to the

I managed to get my nova-t-500 to lose a tuner too!
MythTV was recording on tuner 1.
I was channel surfing on tuner 2.
After flipping through a few channels, I got a black screen.
I looked at the logs. MythTV is complaining

Not too much comfort, but...
Maybe a different problem, but the tuner is really lost until a reboot
all the same.
You don't need to reboot to regain the other tuner. I use the following:
service mythbackend stop
modprobe -r dvb_usb_dib0700
modprobe dvb_usb_dib0700
service mythbackend start
