Hi,
Actually, I got some great news for ISDN users..
I talked to Bezeq yesterday when I wanted to register my ISDN lines - and
the person I talked to said that both lines will be charged TOGETHER for
the sum of 99 NIS!
I suggest you should re-check it with bezeq, but it seems (and I asked 2
As long as you don't try to access reiserfs partition
via NFS you shouldn't have any problems.
I use reiserfs on one of the servers with pretty high
traffic (it picked at 30Gb per day once) for last 3
month and still haven't had any problems with.
You may also want to go throught reiserfs

So, it doesn't matter which number your computer uses when it dials
out - at least not as far as Bezek is concerned :-)
Ahhm, it does - if you dial to one of the phones which are not listed in
their ISP numbers - then you will be charged fully (and there goes my plan
for dial-back in flames)
Hello,
I would suggest a GUI front end for the programs cdrecord/mkisofs.
I am using such the Gnome 'gtoaster' utility.
Please note that cdrecord will write to the CD in the format of
iso9660 that is used by CD Recordable and not in the UDF format that
is used by CD ReWritable.

Some more information:
To be able to use the Hitachi DVD-RAM SCSI device as a removable
media you will need a new Linux kernel (i.e. 2.2.14).
The hardware device is recognized as two different devices by the
Linux kernel, one for the CD-ROM capabilities of the DVD-RAM and a
different one for the

They allow for whoever joins this offer only to dial to specific numbers.
These numbers are of licensed ISPs. I don't like this method, since
ntop (http://www.ntop.org) looks nice.
There is a command-line mode, which is good to show which are currently
taking the bandwidth, and a web interface mode, which is (much) more
informative.
If you only want to show the external network connections you can

Any recommendation for a software like this??

Sure!
You can use ReiserFS (or other journaling file systems like XFS or
EXT3) -
they boot and fsck really fast.
I think it requires a kernel patch, but I'm not sure. You can find alot

I belive that jfs and xfs are in pre-beta stages

Instead of setting up xfstt in XF86Config try setting it using xset.
The command should be something like "xset +fp tcp://{something}". You
should have xfs running before you run this command. For more information
