what's the output of :
synclient -l | grep TouchpadOff
if it's 1, you can try this:
synclient TouchpadOff=0

This is a last day reminder that there is going to be a TelFOSS meeting

Thanks to David for volunteering to give this talk, and he's going to give a
re-run of it for Haifux on
No matter what I do the output is always TouchpadOff = 0. Running
that command didn't induce any change in behavior.

This maybe the answer to stuttering Skype Pulse sound. It means adding 3 groups
pulse
pulse-access
pulse-rt
then altering /etc/pulse/daemon.conf changing settings.
