Hi All In the previous thread i had I/O problems with IBM machine with 2 Xeon 3G Cpu, 3 GB Mem and Raid. The solution ( upgrading the Raid card capabilities ) require me to reinstall the OS on the mechine. Naturly I thought about Debian Sarge :). The New Xeons support 64bit and i thought

AFAIK the x86-64 Debian (AKA ) Sarge is still considered Beta. As far as I remember, I didn't make it into the latest Sarge release. (I may be wrong, though) As for the x86-64 performance increase, well, it depends on the type of software used. x86-64 can be slower then 32bit (due to the added

Hi Erez, Since OpenVPN is uses OpenSSL for crypto functions, it's security in terms of man-in-the-middle attacks should be no less than OpenSSL - which is pretty good. On the other hand, OpenVPN could in theory have local end-point exploits that reduce it's security in terms of local users. If
