AFAIK the x86-64 Debian (AKA ) Sarge is still considered Beta. As far as I remember, I didn't make it into the latest Sarge release. (I may be wrong, though)
As for the x86-64 performance increase, well, it depends on the type of software used.

Hi Erez,
Since OpenVPN is uses OpenSSL for crypto functions, it's security in terms
of man-in-the-middle attacks should be no less than OpenSSL - which is
pretty good.
On the other hand, OpenVPN could in theory have local end-point exploits
that reduce it's security in terms of local users. If
As in most cases, it depends.
I suggest you to read review of VPN for Linux solutions in Linux Journal:

how one can cut out a portion of a line using sed?
I have this (from /etc/sudoers):
%nice ALL=NOPASSWD: /bin/nice,/usr/bin/renice
and I want to remove /bin/nice retaining all the rest.
I've developed this:
math02-lx:/root-1035# sed -n -e '/renice/s/\(.*\): \(.*\),\(.*\)/\1:

I convinced Barak013 to give me DHCP access (=no dailer) so I won't have
to configure the dailer under linux. That took a few calls and expressing
the fact that I'll change to another ISP unless getting that.

LAND is an 8 year old attack. When it came out in 1997, it affected Windows
(95) and FreeBSD (2.2.1) and various other OS's. AFAIR Linux was never

In any event, if you have a 2.0.32 kernel or higher you
Why doesn't the TTL (time to live, in the packet header) fix this

only bat the packet(s) around for up to (the most) 30 times?
