I am running a RedHat 7.0 system. If I try to run gnorpm as root and do a Web find I get no entries in the list of packages and any attempt to search spits out an error XML-CRITICAL **: Document is empty. However, if I run this tool not as root I have the entire list of packages and everything works fine.
It seems to me that there is some state information stored somewhere that got messed up for root but is fine for the regular user. However, I have been unable to find where that state information is kept or how to fix it. Any information would be appreciated.
