Tested by plugging a Logitech ConferenceCam C3000e USB camera
and controlling pan/tilt from the userspace using the VIDIOC_S_CTRL ioctl.

I am running Ubuntu 12.04. I have a Sabrent USB 2.0 grabber with a
Sony HDR SR11 plugged into it.
I am using the most current stk1160 driver.
I can see video using Camorama as well as a couple other tools.
