Where can i get the development version of zlib? but its is not

Are you using maemo sdk? If they don't have zlib1g-dev you're gonna have

as per the tutorials the dependency for the Xlib is only zlib. i have
installed zlib-1.2.2.

you need the development version of it. the one
that comes with the correct header files.
