yes, I think it is a problem of cdrecord with the different channel
numbers. The best way to save the problem would be a new cdrecord
version from Joerg Schilling. But we have a fix in our driver (version
1.22 or higher). With the option virt_ctr=1 (see also gdth.c) every

I just got $subject (5 Channel-FAST-SCSI Raid-Controller)
I wanted to use it as a SCSI-Adapter with 5 Channels, to save some
PCI-Slots.
I have 4 Teac-CD-R58S (8x CD-R) and connected each one to a different
channel.
