Hi Folks, It would be safe to safe that I am more of your passive viewer to this group. To be honest, it is usually 3 or 4 days between visits to the folder where the filter moves these type of messages to. And even then it could be longer if someone or something else takes my attention away.

I had an issue whereby I pulled the device out without 'unmount'ing first. Next time I plugged it in I got the 'not valid block device' error. Windows 2k and Xp was still able to recognise it but I had to reformat it by 'mkfs -t filesystemtype' to get Linux things back in order. On Monday
