My soundcard is finally working in Linux, thanks to mandrake 9. It uses Alsa for the
sound.
My problem is that XWindows (I am running KDE and Gnome) blocks the sound so XMMS
donst work.

I added these iptables rules to my server/gateway but it makes traffic server go VERY
slow eg. mail, POP3, SSH. When I removed them it went ok. The idea of the following

Motherboard (my soundcard is intergrated with the motherboard). There are drivers for

I discovered I need a new kernal and am currentally downloading the source. Is there a
way I can get the new kernal to have all the options that the old one has? I need to
add some modules but apart from that I want everything to be the same. How do I do
this. I am running Mandrake 8.1 .
If CLUG would like a PHP solution for a library I would be more than happy to code one
and host it (although I cant promise 100% uptime (although my web server it hasnt gone
down for about a month).
