I'am trying to boot the latest linuxppc_2_4_devel kernel version
(2.4.27-pre2).
I got it with the rsync access from Montavista.
I build the kernel for my Walnut board using HHL2.0 toolchain
(ppc-405-xxx) and i try to load it
with the original bootloader (from ibm)

I'm trying to get the MetroTRK debugger working on the Motorola Sandpoint
board (7410 processor).
It seems from the manual that I have two options:
1. I load MetroTRK (using DINK) into the first of the two flashes on the
MPPMC card,
2. I burn MetroTRK to ROM, replacing DINK
I've tried both

What date? This isn't a problem anymore, at least on a few walnuts I've
gotten people to test.

Have you run a 'make distclean' anytime recently? If not, try that..
(and save your .config someplace).

I have used the Abatron to debug the kernel, but I am wondering
whether it can easily be used to debug on the user side of the fence.
Can it? (If so, how?)
Thanks,

Hello,
Where can I find information relating to the performance (frames/second,
etc) of TCP/IP under PowerPC embedded Linux? Would this be
different depending upon the device? The devices in consideration
are the MPC860 and the MPC8260. Thank you for all your help.
Sincerely,

Why?
You only need Abatron in the
cases where kernel crashes.
There is gdb for user
applications.
Why? Because gdbserver is acting strange (can stop at a breakpoint,
but won't step or continue). Maybe it is ptrace acting up, so I

You have to be a little bit careful with this.
First, there is a configuration option to add BDI context switch. This
switches the user page tables

Also I am looking for development tools for our project. It will using linux
as OS, MPC8241 as CPU, and our own hardware board. What kind of tools you
advice for debugging kernel and drivers ?
I am looking forward to your helps.
Thanks in advance,
