Some possibilities there - biggest problem is most of the scooter
controls seem to be limited to 24V. I guess I could run at 24V, but
then I'm giving up some of the motor's capability.
I forget, you have 36v or 48v? There's quite a few 36v scooter
controllers and I've successfully run 48v on

throttle the cheapest looks like it's they have a few in the $18-$24

As far as directions, it is generally desired to have the fan blow
air over the armature, then the commutator. The comm is more
sensitive to dirt and debris. Getting dirt blown right at the comm
while operating can potential scar the comm and damage it if dirt
gets under the brushes.

I have that one on my bike. The torque - speed curves they sent
with the motor go to 6000 rpm. Someone wrote once before to keep
them below 5500 unless special modifications are made.Mark T.

So I'm looking at a few options:
A) Change the gearing so 1st gear is 1.375:1 and 2nd gear is 1:1.
This will put a smaller load change on the motors, and should hit
just over 70 at 2900 RPM.
B) Lower the voltage way down on the clutch (voltage yet to be
determined) so that the clutch
some fiberglass, but it didn't have a professional look whatsoever.
The lexan I'm running now is very quick and easy, and looks as good
as anything else I've done. Guess it's about aerodynamics, not
looks. Well, more about aerodynamics anyway.

A DC breaker is a safety device.
A DC disconnect is a switch.
It is similar to the old machinst adage You can drill on a mill,
but you shouldn't mill on a drill.

I have a bent that's been sitting for years partly built. I had
planned on it being a power assist at 24 volts. It's pinned between
the second electric motorcycle and an ICE
but I'd still like to have 36volts in it.

and PWM of the main contactor and some decent specs. There's no
online datasheet and I'd like to see if anyone's used it.
I'm not familiar with them. Anyone else? They seem pretty
inexpensive for a regen.
