Yes, bfc0 is the correct offset. And PMON flash is plugged, not soldered. Last commit in pmon.git [1] is From 2011, highest version tag is 1.6.1. I also looked here [2] but found nothing new, and upstream [3] is currently offline. Just my fault for not looking at the right spot? Or did Lemote eventually close-source their PMON development?
