Thanks. My observations here on LSC of i386 are for Alternate version
of 20150328.
As a note: I have still one installation left of i386 L.15.04 running
without problems. I don't know the date, but it is without any of the
following bugs:
-unable to install the iso;
- the missing software

This bug of missing software in the Lubuntu Software Center was found
again on i386 alternate version of 20150329.
I just learned from bug report #1303056 that 'sudo dpkg-reconfigure
lubuntu-software-center' solves this.

isntaller to work to test this workaround. I reproduced the grpahics not
starting and then then I got it to install with adding nocompcache
