do we have an earlier source for the so-called musicological notation of lute
music (with a space of one ledger line between the staves) than Kohlhase's NBA-edition?
From his foreword it seems that he invented it.

Not sure what the finish is, so that might make a difference. I've had
good luck getting rid of light scratches in guitars with Meguiar's
Scratch-X. It's widely available at auto parts stores and some of the
big box discount stores as well.
