Hi, all. Personally, I use a Tozan-ryu style shakuhachi music stand (from one of my other musical lives): [1]https://www.ebay.com/itm/Kikutani-music-stand-JMS-6-Extravaganza-sha kuhachi-height-adjustment-620-JAPAN/163283784590?epid=917472217=it

If you have a Manhasset (which is what I use at home), you can use standouts to make the desk much larger. https://www.amazon.com/MANHASSET-Music-Stand-Out-Shelf-Extenders/dp/B00H5XQH20/ref=sr_1_1?s=musical-instruments=UTF8=1539803248=1-1=standouts Guy -Original Message- From:

I routinely use mine to stretch out four visible pages at a time, but that does require a minor feat of balance given the narrowly linear extensions. Clipping to those extensions as possible/necessary helps, especially in outdoor and potentially windy conditions. Best, Eugene -Original

Mine is a metal "Hamilton Combination"--very adjustable for height and tilt. Completely collapsible. I've had it for so long I don't recall source or cost, unfortunately. Leonard -Original Message- From: Martin Shepherd To: Lute List Sent: Wed, Oct 17, 2018

Can anyone recommend a good traditional metal music stand?  I don't mean the very heavy orchestral stand, just a "normal" fold-out one.  I ask because it seems that they're all made in China and are flimsy and unstable.  I have one (I think it's Stagg) where the top attaches to the rest with
