Pupil gave me a package of Savarez Alliance Corum. Corum is about the
bass strings. These are silver plated, round wound, more flexible
strings. The package says they are polished. Anyway, they're not jazz
flatwounds, so they're squeaky.
And for the early music police out there,
"Yamaha Lip Plate Patch
"The Yamaha Lip Plate Patch prevents the lips of the performer from slipping
during a lute performance. Package contains 15 patches."

I have rented a small theorbo from the American Lute Society for one
year to learn how to play it. What easy pieces do you recommend I begin
with?
The older I get, the more of a problem it becomes.
