But Carbon sounds *too* bright. It's good for instruments with
weeknesses but gut instruments deserve better strings ...

importance to the internal resonations in the body of the
instrument, but I doubt that the nature of the rose has much to do with it.
More likely it is the effect of the rose on the stiffness of the soundboard
in that location.
