i know that recommendation is to build qt3 prereq w/ "-static" flag, but is it
*required*?
i.e., CAN i build lyx against qt3-shared?

Here is my patch allowing macros to dynamically create
other macros. It also fixes bugs 1391 and 1393 regarding
renaming macros & seeing/editing the number of arguments.
I've tried to encorporate previous comments.
