Actual: the "foot" text moves 1 pixel down and to the left.
On leaving the inset, the text moves back to its original position.
This is intentional, and is used to achieve a 'press, button-down,
text down,

I'm not strictly against this, but I think the background change is enough
visual info (and it does not look very nice IMO).

Cannot reproduce this one neither on Cygwin nor on Solaris.
I can not reproduce exactly this, but if I play with such things a
while, and then select some text, maybe with a button, lyx will crash.

should be possible to have a one to one translation matrix.
