used it but it should be something similar what you need:
When I export a file from LyX to LaTeX, that contains ä or ö in the
file name, the letters in the exported filename will be wrong.
I'm using LyX 1.1.6fix4.

1. Load the attached file buglabel.lyx
2. Move the cursor inside the display math, on the line which reads
TryInsertingLabelHere.
3. Select from menu Insert/Label..., type a label and press ok.
The label should be displayed in the math number position,
but it is not.

Since I'm in the mood of sending bug reports, here's another.

Usually writing to a read-only document is disabled.
However, if you put your cursor into a math box, it does
accept input. I guess there's a missing if() ?
You can't create a math box, however, it must pre-exist.

Your document probably contains a bibliography paragraph style.
This bug has been fixed in 1.1.6fix1.
Yes, it has a "References" section. Ok, good.

There's something strange with command line export...
(1.1.6)
s-inf-pc24 ~/work/implement lyx -e ascii newfile2.lyx
About to handle -x 'buffer-export ascii'
Can not export file
No information for exporting to ascii

Sorry to interfere... but I'd love to have GTK LyX without required to
install Gnome. Would it be too much trouble supporting GTK without Gnome
too?

A very good idea! I have saved a bunch of interesting tips posted to this
mailing list, and I have been thinking that they should be put into an
organized collection of hints

It is more or less similar for Xforms, so lyx should be easy to
port for it. It's LGPL'ed and ports even to the other operating system.

I'm waiting eagerly for the multitoolkit lyx :)
Thanks for a great program.
