I have FINALLY managed to compile lyx again by reverting lyxsum.C to version 1.18 and so can now address some of the bugs that I know to exist in the frontend. So... Jürgen, can you remember what the bug was in the Character dialog and why you didn't like the patch I sent to you weeks past.
