Hi,
I would like to report that the nomenclature function no longer works for me on
LyX 2.4.0 beta 5.
Environment:
I compiled LyX 2.4.0 beta 5 on Ubuntu 22.04 with Qt6 enabled and my Tex Live
install is up to date.
Steps to reproduce:

while translating the Preferences dialog, I stumbled upon the backup feature
and realized it does not work exactly as described in both, its checkbox'
tooltip and the (new) section 2.2.1 of the User's Guide manual.
