Okay, the problem was not a missing file in CVS. I was using
the ``make rpmdist'' which uses ``make dist'' and the new
files were not added to the tarball-creating Makefiles.
Here's the patch to src/support/Makefile.am that fixes this.

The syptom is this: Typing on the keyboard inserts the letter *twice*
into the buffer.

It looks like lyx is trying to do "reLyX -n -c literate-{article" instead
of "-c literate-article".
I'll look at that code soon and see what I can find.

Arabic is written exactly like Farsi (Right to Left, Top to Bottom).
I think the Hebrew patch will do for Arabic and Farsi too.

not exactly true. It's in my weekly CVS releases, found in
the Sylvan LyX ftp area under ftp://ftp.sylvan.com/pub/lyx/devel
I recreate the LyX RPMs on a regular basis from CVS and it always includes
the latest stuff as of the time of thse builds.
