suddenly, it refuses to render and instead produces 100 errors, virtually all
of them complaining about missing references which are clearly not missing -

Does anybody know if it is possible possible to have a theorem (or
lemma...) with something different in place of the numbering.
I would like to do the equivalent of this Tex commands (which works in
pure tek, but not inside my lyx document)

Does anybody know how to make a section name appear differently in the
toc than in the document. I have in mind the following tex command :

i have installed lyx on my laptop. The screenfonts (title and other big fonts) look
like some games i played once on my zx spectrum (liasing). The dvi and pdf fonts are
ok. Dvi seems to render. I tried lyx-qt1-3 from tux familiy and a selfcompiled lyx
from the 1.3pre2-1 sources. I am using
