was written using LyX's article layout. Now, I want to
put them all into a single book, using the book
layout. This is what I've done for every article:

Dapper,
I compiled lyx-1.4.1 debs for Ubuntu Dapper following instructions from
http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/LyXOnDebian.
It works in my Dapper laptop and does all the right things with existing
documents, eg make pdf

I think so. Use LyX to export your file to yourfile.tex
Then run from the command line, htlatex yourfile.tex enter
