Dear Users, I have to submit my manuscript in .pdf, and the university publisher/print will print it. I tried three methods to produce a .pdf file from my .lyx file. Using ae fonts as explained in the LyX manuals dvipdfm, pdflatex and ps2pdf all produced beautiful fonts on the screen

Similar problem here. It seems to be a permissions problem. In my case the lyx folder under Library/texmf/tex/latex was owned by root and the installer could not copy the Lyx's additional classes and styles. I guess the reason is that he folder originally had been created by a LyX 1.51

Dear Users, I have to submit my manuscript in .pdf, and the university publisher/print will print it. I tried three methods to produce a .pdf file from my .lyx file. Using ae fonts as explained in the LyX manuals dvipdfm, pdflatex and ps2pdf all produced beautiful fonts on the screen

With help from #latex I have got my local latex environment set up, so that I can run pdflatex on a simple tex file which uses the custom style. When I try to use the style in a lyx doc though, by adding this to the preamble: \usepackage{StuS13} then C-X P gives the error --

Similar problem here. It seems to be a permissions problem. In my case the lyx folder under Library/texmf/tex/latex was owned by root and the installer could not copy the "Lyx's additional classes and styles". I guess the reason is that he folder originally had been created by a LyX 1.51
