In the attached lyx file, phantom at the beginning of a line results in a new-line. I have to use ctrl-space and insert a hard space to get the phantom to take any effect. I'm also thinking what about a phantom text style (as text styles can be nested) but this might need whatever magic is

Phantom spaces

In the attached lyx file, phantom at the beginning of a line results in a new-line. I have to use ctrl-space and insert a hard space to get the phantom to take any effect. I'm also thinking what about a phantom text style (as text styles can be nested) but this might need whatever magic is

Hello, Recently I stumbled upon a really strange problem with lyx. Whenever I press ome of the following: *' - ; + :* *`* (and probably even other) it doesn't type anything, instead - when I type something after this button, say a letter, it displays weird symbols. for example: trying to write a

a4wide and fancyhdr - change the line width

Hey folks, Have been braking my teeth on this all day... I am using a4wide package - it makes the are of the page taken by the text wider then the regular article layout. In addition I need a header with a line separating the header from the not-header :). Therefore I use the fancyhdr package.
