Hi,
still trying to get to the bottom of relyx in windows. I found an old archive
message from Angus explaing that the conversion error that occurs after the
perl relyx script executes is due to python somehow. Can someone point me to
where python completes the 2nd half of the conversion? I
how to invoke Lyx2Lyx manually? It
will be easier than any other solution.
Thanks!

Hi folks,
what is the trick to make relyx work in windows? I've found that I need to put
the .tex file in the bin directory where relyx.bat is so that it can find it,
but after that, the system complains that the conversion has failed.
Thanks,

Hi folks,
hope this question isn't too newbie!
I wanted to insert this command \rule{0pt}{4.5ex} in the element of an array.
I didn't want to use arraystretch
because one of the elements contained a 2x2 matrix, and I assume that would be
stretched too.

You have
User Lyx directory: 'C:/Documents and Settings/db/.lyx/'
Maybe the problem is that you have your user directory set to a directory with
spaces in the pathname? It may not be in this case, but I'm sure it will give
you trouble later.

Hi folks,
looks like this isn't such a newbie question after all.
Maybe I should ask it more carefully.
I want to use LyX to produce systems of equations that look like this (output
exported from LyX):

C + (4-\lambda)D =
Thanks Herbert, you are a genius!
Hope you don't mind a followup! :-) Is there a way to right justify the
equation numbers?
(I'm guessing the items in red are standard LaTeX macros I can find documented
somewhere?)
Thanks!
