Dear Lyx users,
I'm writing a statement of purpose and one of the requirements is
that my name and title appear at the top of each page.
How can I do this in Lyx? Right now I'm using document class article.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi,
I use Lyx 1.5.1 on Mac OS. Right now I have all my equations numbered
but the label appears to the far right
of the equation, I'm wondering if its possible to make the label
appear at the far left of the equation.

I have a table inside a float, and the word Measure on the table
looks aligned in Lyx,
but when I compile into pdf it moves up. I haven't been able to fix
its alignment. Here is the Lyx

Hi,
I upgraded to Lyx 1.5.1 . The References come up just fine, with
numbers and everything, but in the text when I make a citation
I get a question mark instead of the number corresponding to that
reference.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

I've been using Lyx for a while now, and I never had a problem when I
tried to view the document
in pdf form (view as pdflatex) it worked fine.
Until yesterday that I tried to view a beamer class document in pdf,
and suddenly QuickTime Player was

I'm new at this and I would like to be able to use beamer with lyx.
I have an Intel based Mac. What should I do to install it and get it
running?

use: FileNew, then DocumentSettingsDocument Class, and choose
Beamer
Presentation Class. If not, install beamer in whatever way you do
this

I have a floating figure and a graph clipped inside, but when
I export to pdf it is automatically clipped to the left of the box,
I want it to appear in the center, in other words to clip it to the
center of the float. How do I do it?
