symbols, so I tried including xfig file directly as external document. The

I have compiled and installed lyx-1.4.1. using xforms option on

I don't remember from which site I downloaded them. I have now removed the
libforms and reinstalled another set from the net.

Better use Beamer as I found it is much easier to install and a big
document regarding it's use. Also good examples along with the

the help menu of lyx.
I am using Mandrake 10.1.
I unzipped the powerdot files into
/usr/local/texmf/tex/latex/powerdot
Then use texhash to udate latex but when I use
kpsewhich tex powerdot.cls it shows no path

used in conjunction with article. I have done whatever is said in the
manual still layout-document-.layout shows unavailiable article(myclass)

I am using lyx 1.3.4. It has slide FoilTex unavailiable. Can some one tell
me how to include the foiltex.

I have used section 5.2 in Help-> Customization to fix a .sty file to be
used in conjunction with article. I have done whatever is said in the
manual still layout->document-.layout shows unavailiable article(myclass)
What more one has to do to get .sty file to work.

In the slides prepared by using foilTex. All the bottom of page there is
always a line "Typeset by Foiltex". Is is possible to remove it.

While writing a documents in lyx I am facing a strange problem of space
between the text and the mathematical equations. At some places the
space is more than normal. I have removed all the spaces after and before
the math dsiplay. The space use to be the source of abnormal space
