Hello,
I have checked my configuration:
Latex.exe is in D:\program\texmf\miktex\bin
D:\program\texmf\miktex\bin is not in:
HKey_Local_Machine\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session
Manager\Environment:Path
But it is (once) in:
the network path to Miktex?
I know that the perfect solution is to try to teach them but I prefer the
path of least resistance and a fully automated, network-base installation
process would be perfect ;-)
Thanks,
Abdel.

Hello,
My Miktex install is very complete so I don't want to download the full
package. The path to latex.exe is in the system wide path
(D:\program\texmf\miktex\bin), is there anything I could do to tell the
installer it's there? Maybe adding a registry key or something?
Thanks in advance,
Hello,
I have a problem with the install of lyx 1.3.7pre4 (lyx-1.3.6 is OK). At the
install, a popup box says: Failed attempting to execute the configure
script. I click on OK and let it launch but then a new box says:
Lyx wasn't able to find it's layout descriptions!
Check that the file
One additional information: I have just installed Python 2.4.2. Maybe this
is the problem?
Anyway, I have re-installed 1.3.6 and overwrite the bin directory with the
one from 1.3.7pre4 installation. Seems to work fine...
Thanks,
Abdel.

Hello,
I've tried to google for that but no success, maybe someone could help me
here :-).
I have some font problems with either dvi, ps, or pdf generated by lyx. With
Yap (dvi) there is an error message (see below) and the font for chapters
and sections (first level) are replaced by a default
