Hi Uwe, Thanks again for your reply. I'm still having a few problems. On the weekend (using Image Magick version 6.1.9) I turned my computer on, started LyX and everything worked fine - I could view .eps and .eps files within LyX. I turned my computer off though and came back a few hours later

Thanks for your response Uwe, I was originally using Image Magick 6.0.2 (I think). I upgraded it to 6.1.9 but I am still having the same problem! I am using AFPL Ghostscript 8.50 and LyXWin 1.3.5 win32 nc. - I can view .jpg and .ppm images inside LyX - I can not view .eps or .pdf images inside
