After installing some new printer software (Nuance Paper Port) I was no longer able to view the pdf reader for any of LYX files. I uninstalled the printer software but the problem remained. Also, I was unable to install the new LYX update 2.1.3 (I am using LYX 2.1.2 on Windows 7). Thank you

Be very careful when viewing Beamer presentations with anything other than Adobe. I have found that the presentations never display correctly and when giving a presentation, it is almost a guarantee that you will be presenting on Adobe. If you are not using Beamer, anything else should work. I
