setup: lyx 1.6.1 on linux RHEL5 (tetex 3.0)
1) I have problem when running view DVI on non-english text (czech):

\begin_header
\textclass article
\use_default_options true
\language czech
\inputencoding auto
... skip ... all defaults
\begin_body
\begin_layout Standard
ÄÄ = two characters
\backslash
v{c}
\end_layout
\end_body
\end_document
then dvi viewer crashes with missfont.log: mktexpk --mfmode / --bdpi 600
--mag 0+577/600 --dpi 577 rml
2) When the text contains only one character "č"
then everything is OK.
Also when I export as latex-plain arbitrary text with non English chars
and then run latex manually on the file, everything runs fine.
This seems to be a bug - but any workaround (except of downgrading)
would be appreciated.
