I just re-install ubuntu 7.10 with lyx 1.5.1 as given by this distribution. Now I get no illustrations within any lyx text, even with the user guide. However the text, and the figures appear correctly in DVI or postscript. I suppose I need to add something (but what??) to my Ubuntu configuration.

I see that you were trying to change the color of a Chapter Heading, in particular. This does seem like a mess, easily reproducible by me; titles and sections seem to work, though. Evidently a problem for the masters.

I see that you were trying to change the color of a Chapter Heading, in particular. This does seem like a mess, easily reproducible by me; titles and sections seem to work, though. Evidently a problem for the masters.
