Did you select the concha style from the BibTeX dialog? Do you get any
BibTeX error messages (in Document LaTeX Log BibTeX)?
yes, lyx couldn t find the style
i had to add concha.bst manually to the settings of bibtex bibliography as
it did not appear automatically
This is BibTeX, Version 0.99dThe top-level auxiliary file:
Dissertation_2015_original.aux
I couldn't open style file concha.bst

As I wrote in my first answer, you must add concha.bst to the local TEXMF
that was the problem!
i excluded \bibliographystyle... from the preamble and the bibliography
appeared in the pdf

i saved concha.bst in a new folder within bibtex/bst (also tried without a
new folder)
and babelbst within
tex/latex/babelbst
