How do I convert text that has the attribute Language:english to
Language:default? Is there a way to do this the "GUI way" or do I need to know
a magic command?

the resulting pdf file in the tmp directory, somewhere in /tmp/lyx_PID/
This is a bug and should be relatively easily fixed though.
But in general it does work.
Tpp bad that acrobat reader is such a piece of crap on Linux :-(

I certainly agree that eps is the format of choice for Latex when things
are going to be printed.
I noted though that there are many people out there that have reverted
to create pdf documents, somewhat as a last resort against having to do
M$soft.
Anyway for pdflatex eps is not an option. Also

Great, finally someone to pick this up.
If I were you I'd also ask the developers, I think they have very
detailed ideas of how the whole thing should be dealt with already. As
far as I understand, figures should _not_ be converted into eps since
this is entirely unnecessary. LaTeX can handle

Hi experts,
can anyone please tell me whether it is possible to have something like:
o
E
that is a small cicle over any letter in math mode. I know about
accent-circumflex but that doesnt seem to work for all letters and especially
not in mathmode.
I'd be satisfied if it involves ERT.
