Thanks. I was able to resolve the issue. I looked into KWin System Settings as suggested. A feature in the latest version of KDE Plasma is to blame. System Settings> Application Style> Fine Tuning> Menubar style> In Application resolves it. Regards Karthik Tayur On 9 July 2017 at 20:52, John
