I think the question, What makes Art Art will
always be asked, it is a valid question and worth contemplation- I agree
thatart is subjective - I love it that there is so much to choose
from actually - to try to have it fit into someone's notion of what art is or
should be is stifling to
I discovered that a thrift store in California, gets
way too many donations and a huge amount of stuff goes
into the trash. That can't be the only one. I think of
the huge amount of waste in the developed countries
and the lack of basics elsewhere. Then again I think
of beautiful traditional

There are A LOT of different definition of art.
Whether
you think it is art or not is SUBJECTIVE and I think
it should remain that way. Carlo Pittore would agree
with
One of my husband's photography students sent her self
portrait out to people though out the country with no
words or return address. It was random addresses of
people in the phone book. It was all about letting go
for her.
I am a social artist so it is a bit the same for me. I
do it, send it
for their work and that is
bothersome to me and why I have never used an AKA.
