app switcher before I updated so that could have something to do with it

Hi.
Yep did the update directly from the 4S yesterday, process totally seemless
and since then performance far better although I cant comment on the battery
life as I've only had my 4S since yesterday.
I'm totally amazed at the speed difference between the 4 and 4S, very very
impressive.

Wow, Ester,
that was a very informative email. Thank you. I fell in love with iPhone
about a year ago, and now I am thinking about getting a laptop of some kind
made by Apple. I was curious about Pages and it was great to know that
there are users out there to share. I was wondering whether
Hi, Folks! On the iPhone 4, what's the difference between the
default voice for VoiceOver and the Compact voice? Which is better
and why? Thanks in advance.

I've had no trouble with the audible web site. If you could give
some specifics as to what your difficulties are, we might be able to
offer some assistance. I have several audible items, and downloading
them is simple enough, though it's not always obvious which one
you're downloading.
The default voice is higher quality, if that voice works for you,
there's little reason to use the compact voice.

When in Finder, I find myself often on an item way to the right with the
close button way to the left. Is there a quick keystroke to pop me right over
to the close button?
Thanks,

Hi list:
Was wondering if anyone could refer me to a place I can refer a developer to
for accessibility tricks?
Let me explain
I was in contact with the developer of the Atlantis mud client who stated she
wanted to make it accessible for voice over users but was having trouble with

YOu can hit vo shift home to get to the top of the window. and vo shift end to
get to the bottom. since the clise button is usually, but not always at the top
of the window vo shift home is what you might want.

Try the apple support sight. There's documentation on how to make apps work
wiht voice over or so I'm told.. I know someone gave the link to those docs a
while back but can't remember now and I removed about 3 months worth of
messages to clean out this folder.
Take care.

I use the compact voice as it to me sounds a lot better and it is less resource
intensive. I run a lot of processes so for me the compact works. it's the same
on my iphone as well. I run the compact voice for that as well.

Oops? Forgot about that keystroke even though I use it. I use some apps wherein
cmd w does not work and you must navagate to the close button and press it.
Take care.

Hello Koji,
I haven't tried Pages on the iPhone, and I think the experience of using word
processors on iOS devices may still lag behind the desktop experience.
However, I'll point out one thing that may be of interest to iOS device users
about Pages on the Mac, and also Scrivener. Both
Hi Lyn,
I can't suggest a fix, but I'll just ask if you use Wi-Fi and connect to
different Wi-Fi sites without changing your location profile. What I've
noticed is that if I changed my internet connection type several times, either
by going between ethernet and Wi-Fi, or switching different
If anyone is using Pages on the IPad and finding it not to be reauly

Hi, if you go to iTunes on the computer and under your or in this case her

My newness to the Mac caused me to screw up my Apple ID which I had from my

Thanks, I just took a gander at the dialog and think I could get her through
it remotely. Trouble is that it might take a half hour at least to get her
to select the store menu and correct option.
Still wonder if I can have her do the setup and then simply restore from her
older firmware 3GS
Hi, to modify or create a new Id this can be done in iTunes under your
