I use the name of my home directory. It is different than my account name. So
when I hear the first beep I type my home directory name then hit return. Then
I hear 2 beeps and type my password and hit return. Then I hear 3 beeps and
I’m logged into my Mac.

I just tried an experiment. You can either use your account name or the name
of your home directory. Both will work. I just tried it.

You can login using your admin account or your regular account. I generally
login using my regular account and only log in with the admin account if I’m
doing something that requires it.

you will hear 3 beeps and be logged into your account. I use file volt with no
problems. You will not have any speech while you enter your username and
password.

Hello to all. I'm thinking
I just read the user guide for this device. It definitely seems on the
expensive side to me. I think if a person really wants to use the iPhone
efficiently and if they really don’t want to use the touch screen for some
reason they should just buy a blue tooth keyboard. Those are just my
help would be appreciated.

Can anyone recommend a good app for filling out pdf forms on the Mac or on an
iPhone? I know this has been brought up before but I never had to do this on
the Mac, so never paid attention. Is this even possible on the Mac or iPhone?
Any info would be appreciated.

I;ve been using the Messages beta since it first came out. I've had no
problems at all with it. The app worked perfectly right out of the box. I am
using beta 2 at the moment. I haven't checked lately to see if there is a
newer one. Guess I'll have to do that.

the talk button. I definitely don't mind doing that. I
was just wondering if you had any luck with the control-l keystroke or not.

This is just a quick test. I've been trying to send messages but they aren't
going through. Just want to see if this makes the list.

You can press right-option-t if you have turned the keyboard commander on. I
think you also have to have to box under general settings checked that says
allow voiceover to be controlled by apple scripts.

Hi Mike. I normally check time and date from the status bar as well. I got the
impression from David's message that he wanted a one keystroke approach for
doing this though. That is why I gave him the explanation about the voiceover
keyboard commander.

that would make it speak the
name of the person signing in. This didn't work though. Can anyone think of
what I might be doing wrong?
Thanks

the already have dropbox
account option. I chose to do the typical install and it said that my computer
was linked to my account. If you can think of anything I could try I'd greatly
appreciate it.
Thanks for any help that anyone can provide.

Does anyone know where I can find old versions of iTunes? I want to downgrade
from 10.4 but can't seem to find 10.3.1 anywhere. I've been looking all over
but have come up empty. If anyone has any ideas I'd really appreciate it.
