I am running Mac OS 10.10.3 on my iMac and IOS 8.2 on my iPhone. I keep a
shared calendar on iCloud.
Is there an easy way to delete all calendar events before some specified date
while retaining future instances of repeated events which were originally set
up before that specified
and the app will then be

I have a folder in the Doc. It is fine and I can view all my files in a
list order. However, when I press command delete on one of these files it
will not delete. Is this because I must go in to the Home folder in Finder
and delete from the origional source so to speak?

I would think for safety you would not be able to delete files from a folder
tha'ts on the doc, from the doc. this way you can't accidently hit cmd del and
go, Oh no, where did it go. I personally don't midn dong it from the finder as
I know I'm removing the file to the trash.

delete it as you would any other file. However, since it is so large you might
have trouble with it going into the trash. Then again Mac OSx might ask you if

What I do is vo left and right over the appointment to make sure it has focus,
then I hit the delete key. I can't figure out though why this works about 75
percent of the time in that i think I have the thing highlighted and nothing
happens when I hit the delete key.

the calendar on the Mac, I can browse the calendar easily enough but entering
and manipulating events seems to be much harder than it was, in other words
just too complex so I use the Calendar App on my IOS or

If you are using gmail there is a nasty bug or there was with the first
mavericks update. If the all mail folder is not checked in imap settings you
will exhibit this exact behavior. If you update mavericks if you are using

unable to remove an account, just remove the profile info and it will just

The button is not visible when you haven't typed anything yet. After you
type at least one number, the delete button appears above the 3
button, in the upper right corner of the keypad.

So far I've figured out that hitting the backspace or delete key will remove
character by character, and that CMD shift and delete will remove a line, as
well as that shift and arrow keys will highlight text, but how do I select word
by word to delete, or part of a sentence? Each time
