Hi,
I just updated to OSX Lion from 10.6 (Snow Leopard). Do I need to
re-install Macports? If I re-install Macports, do I need to delete the old
ports and install them again, or will a selfupdate and upgrade for all the
ports do?
Thanks!

Hi,

After disabling the dependency on evince and creating symlinks for guile16, I
was able to build gnucash on leopard. When gnucash tries to retrieve a
stock quote, it hangs. Neither changing gnc-fq-dump to use
/opt/local/bin/perl or installing Finance::Quote for /usr/bin/perl helps,
although
By removing the run dependency upon evince from the portfile, I was able to
build gnucash on 10.5 It displays accounts and fetches stock prices, but
when I try to move to a new field with a tab or return after entering an
amount, it crashes:
dyld: lazy symbol binding failed: Symbol not found:
At Randall Wood's suggestion I installed the fixed XQuartz from
http://www.x.org/wiki/XDarwin. This version allows gnucash to enter data
instead of crashing.
