After executing "port -d -y rev-upgradeā it showed the problem is the
mysql8 variant which produced following error

The port smartmontools includes the command line tool. The port gsmartcontrol
provides a GUI on top of that, if you want (I've never tried the latter).
It won't work on USB drives without a kernel driver (not available in MacPorts).

curl (cacert.pem from https://curl.se/docs/caextract.html)
On old Macs in Safari even a simple page like wikipedia is not loadable,
I thought it is a certificate issue, but it did not help. Firefox has
its own.
