I have seen this on occasion and suspect there is some issue with Mail and the imap server. Of course I'm making the assumption you are using imap. SOmetimes waiting will solve the problem. I don't have a suggestion at this point since it has happen only occasionally, but maybe your having the

Hi, Yep, that's right. I followed the steps given in the article and it worked just as expected. only thing I can't do (which isn't accessible BTW as far as I can tell) is access the Dropbox prefferences within the app. I also figured out how to install it completely as well. HTH, Jeffrey On

Hi Rose. When writing the article, I used the latest stable version of the Dropbox client which is 1.1.34. With this method, you can setup dropbox. The only thing you can't do is access the preferences dialog. However, I personally have never had need to go in to the preferences. Darcy On

I'm not sure why you are having the problem, but let me check my settings as well, but I suspect this is just one of those annoying things one has to deal with. THe problem is from what I understand, Google has a slightly different imap implementation that does not always agree with APple Male.
