Yep, that's right. I followed the steps given in the article and it worked just
as expected. only thing I can't do (which isn't accessible BTW as far as I can
tell) is access the Dropbox prefferences within the app. I also figured out how
to install it completely as well.

all this up. However, I believe there was an option (experimental) that had to
be configured from the Gmail site. Before I send you down the wrong path since
it has been a while, perhaps someone can comment a bit
Hi Rose. When writing the article, I used the latest stable version of the
Dropbox client which is 1.1.34. With this method, you can setup dropbox. The
only thing you can't do is access the preferences dialog. However, I
personally have never had need to go in to the preferences.

long as you do not remove them from the apps source you will not loose the app.
So, removing it from the device under the apps tab will only affect the device.

I'm not sure why you are having the problem, but let me check my settings as
well, but I suspect this is just one of those annoying things one has to deal
with. THe problem is from what I understand, Google has a slightly different
imap implementation that does not always agree with APple Male.
