I discovered recently that Google lets you create a Google account, but not a
Gmail address if you'd rather use another one. I was helping a client sign up
with Google, and we were able to use the client's iCloud email to sign up. The
password was different from iCloud, of course, but the email
Your next decision is... Which one? The Series 2 is good, the Series 3 is
better and has the option of a cellular connection, and the Series 4 should
arrive this fall sometime. If you can wait, I'd suggest holding out for the
next generation. If you love it, great, you have the latest. If
Hi Donna,
The monitor I use is an Omron series 10, upper arm BP 786. The iPhone app is
called Omron Wellness and it is VO friendly, not 100 percent perfect but very
usable. It connects via bluetooth and can be used by two people. You may need
sighted assistance for the initial user set up.
I do not have the Google Calendar app on my iPhone. I manage my Google
Calendars on the native Apple Calendar app on my iPhone and iPad.

It seems to me that there is a way to select and copy text within the Kindle
app. I’m pretty sure I tried it along time ago when it first became available,
but never really had any need for it. Now I’m wondering if it is usable, and I
can’t remember or find out what are the gestures. You can’t
Dear List,
Is Plex media server accessible on Mac and Apple TV?
Thanks,

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a blood pressure cuff that has an

Some years ago, I was in Lebanon and bought a device called GoodTalk in
which I inserted the Lebanese sim-card and kept the Swedish in the
iPhone, it has an app which I downloaded then and I used it a while, it
doesn't do data just to inform, hope that puts you in the right direction.
My latest message received a response as of several weeks ago.

Thanks for the info, Tim. This is very helpful.
Although I have a Gmail account, it would not be the account I would want to
use for our joint calendar. It would be the email address I use for our
research, which isn’t Google. Would the calendar still work for me, as long as

Hi,
It’s perfectly accessible. You can add a G Mail account to your iPhone and use
the built in Apple Calendar app as well.

Hi everyone,
I live in Europe, but I will be visiting family, friends and research
colleagues in the US during October and November. Since I will need to
occasionally use my European SIM card while there, I will have to use two
different iPhones since I have no desire to constantly be taking
Since all of you were so helpful with my inquiry about a fitness watch, I
thought I’d ask you another question.

Yes I need to boot from the Windows disc to run a repair. I will
look at the VM menu. Hopefully it will do what I need.

Very helpful. I have decided to go with the Apple Watch. That decision is
based on the feedback I received to my inquiry. Thanks to all of you.

As in you need to boot from a DVD of windows 7?
Or from the vm HD for the win 7 vm machine your running?
If first then under virtual machine menu you should find an option for optical
drive / dvd / cd rom
You'll have to select which one you require.

yeah two choices,
the fitbit range of devices have the sensors to pick up what your doing with
your exercise and relay it to you through your iphone and the fitbit app.
You'd have to check on which ones do what these days as I've lost track.
There used to be a Charge HR which did most of what
I would like to thank all of you for your instructive feedback. Though I will
most likely go with the AppleWatch, I will also consider the FitBit band,
though with less enthusiasm than before.
Thanks so much, all of you!

Hello Kat,
TextEdit is hopeless with tables, but Pages should be fine. If focus is jumping
around, make sure that your mouse pointer is set to ignore the other cursors.
We go into quite a lot of detail about tables in our book on Pages so that
would be a good place to look for more information.
